Finished Quilt Top

Well, I pushed ahead yesterday and got the top finished. This is good because we are leaving a a couple of days for a short trip, and there wont be any quilt making going on.

I am pleased with this design, the pattern worked out great. But I think I may add a little embellishment in the form of fabric sprinkles in the background somehow. I have decided not to embroider on this quilt. Doesn't seem to want it.

My husband thinks this looks like my hand. It should! This quilt also marks the first in a very long time since I used commercial fabrics. The black with white polka dots worked out great!
